Trolling Motor Charging

How often does a 12volt battery running a 25hp 4 stroke outboard motor need to be charged?
Boat is running approx. 15 hours a week. 16′ fishing boat with separate trolling motor.
Your outboard has a charging circuit of about 10-20 amps, which will not maintain a battery used for a trolling motor. I would suggest you buy an “intelligent” trickle charger, and use it after every use. These chargers will not overcharge your battery, and are becoming reletively inexpensive, as low as $50. A small solar panel might do the trick, but if you have several cloudy days, they are not very effective.
